- Participate in the hiring process and train Merchant Services Consultants.
- Organize and oversee schedules, territories, and performance of sales employees.
- Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
- Schedule and direct regular sales meetings and events to share information and increase morale.
- Handle employee discipline in accordance with company policy.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a sales director or a VP level.
- 8-10 years of Merchant Services experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of marketing strategy, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- Proficiency in business and management principles, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Strong sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- Advanced math skills for budgeting and data analysis.
- Excellent supervisory, leadership, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
- Persuasion and critical thinking abilities.
- Thorough understanding of company products/services and market competitors.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently while traveling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
