Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a skilled Technical Assistant to join our team. This is a seasonal full-time opportunity that offers a chance to work in a dynamic environment.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for processing insurance policy submissions and updating customer files. They will also support subscribers in preparing simple endorsements, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
This position requires strong attention to detail, quick thinking, and problem-solving skills. The right candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, file, and update records or documents, maintaining accuracy and completeness.
- Keep track of received data and source documents, verifying their integrity and relevance.
- Work directly with underwriters to process insurance policy shipments to policyholders, following established instructions.
- Send insurance policies to creditors and insurance companies, ensuring timely delivery.
- Document work in the agency's system, ensuring compliance with service levels and standards.
- Prepare and mail letters to policyholders for new business policies, renewals, and endorsements, maintaining clear communication.
- Organize and maintain detailed office or warehouse records, ensuring easy access to information.
- Verify policyholder information, including names and addresses, ensuring it meets established standards.
- Perform record keeping and data entry into agency systems or policy issuance systems, maintaining accurate customer information.
- Support subscribers in processing simple endorsements without additional premiums, providing excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the Claims Unit in the event of a major catastrophic event, contributing to the team's efforts.
To be considered for this role, you must have at least one year of administrative work experience. A Bachelor's Degree with 60 approved credits in Office Systems is highly preferred.
