Job Title: Desktop Specialist

West Suburban Medical Center is seeking a skilled Desktop Specialist to join our team. As a Desktop Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop computers, printers, and other hardware and software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and configure desktop computers, printers, and other hardware and software systems
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop computers and other hardware and software systems
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on desktop computers and other hardware and software systems
  • Assist with the implementation of new technology and systems
  • Provide training and support to end-users on the use of desktop computers and other hardware and software systems
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in desktop support or related field
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of desktop computers, printers, and other hardware and software systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
