Hardlines Sales Leader

About the Role:
The Sales Lead plays a crucial role in driving sales and enhancing the Member experience at our store. Reporting to the Store Leadership, this individual will partner closely with them to achieve department goals and maintain high standards of sales floor appearance.
About You:
To succeed in this position, you should have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong merchandising and organizational abilities. Previous sales experience is essential, along with knowledge of offered products and services. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a willingness to learn are also key requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner with Store Leadership to drive day-to-day execution on the sales floor and ensure associates understand member interaction expectations and selling responsibilities.
- Teach and model expected behaviors that lead to a positive member experience and effective selling performance.
- Assist with member concerns and hold sales associates accountable for resolving issues efficiently.
- Ensure associates complete transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems and stay up-to-date on operational processes.
- Coordinate visual merchandising and restock merchandise to maintain a visually appealing sales floor.
- Collaborate with Store Leadership to plan schedules and execute tasks to meet department goals.
Requirements:
- Reading, arithmetic, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Excellent internet navigation skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain personal productivity.
- Demonstrated sales experience and knowledge of offered products and services.
- Strong merchandising, organizational, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills.
- Passion for members and demonstrated customer service skills.
- Knowledge of integrated retail tools and ability to convey value to associates and members.
Salary Range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year (dependent on location and experience). Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
