The Client Manager is a key role at NFP, responsible for maintaining and developing the strategic flow and positioning of all communication and data to and from the Client, including all company departments. They serve as the main point of contact for the organization's Clients, ensuring seamless communication and coordination across all divisions and associates.
The Client Manager will manage small to medium-sized accounts and collaborate with Product Managers to oversee major (large & jumbo) accounts. They will plan and manage accounts to maximize revenue and profit opportunities, leveraging their knowledge of the company's services and competitors. The Client Manager will report to a Product Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed a quota equivalent to 2 times their base salary.
- Manage accounts and assume total responsibility for assigned accounts.
- Consistently contact customers, at least once a month, to ensure 100% retention.
- Interact with carriers and Clients, leading and completing negotiations.
- Develop and create solutions for existing Clients, as well as pursue new clientele opportunities.
- Propose and sell additional offered services, having full knowledge of the services offered in the company.
- Manage the renewal process for existing accounts.
- Assist Clients in determining the best courses of action, renewal negotiations, funding levels, plan implementation, plan reviews, and evaluations, and compliance issues.
- Provide customer service, including the process of client requests or directing requests to the correct department.
- Respond to detailed questions regarding legislation, billing, and claims issues.
- Provide timely financial reporting, including experience reviews, rate projections, and other required information.
- Prepare communication plans and keep Clients up-to-date with account movements, arranging meetings and presentations.
- Identify service problems, develop, and deliver solutions to the Client or the Client's needs in a timely manner.
