Our client is a forward-thinking agrochemical company that develops, formulates, and globally markets branded crop protection and plant nutrition products.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a US sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  2. Identify key opportunities, set sales targets, and lead a customer-centric approach to deliver sustainable agricultural solutions.
  3. Build and manage a strategic distribution network to optimize partnerships and enhance market reach and customer satisfaction.
  4. Create and execute a market-driven portfolio strategy to align products with demand and competition.
  5. Lead product development and innovation to position the company as a leader in sustainable solutions.
  6. Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and accountability to support company growth.
  7. Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships to ensure successful entry and growth in the US.
  8. Provide market insights to refine corporate strategy and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  9. Manage US financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability strategies.
  10. Ensure regulatory compliance and proactively address changes in US agricultural standards.
  11. Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders and represent the company at industry events.
  12. Analyze competitors and trends to drive strategic decision-making and innovation.
  13. Implement risk mitigation strategies and tailor products to specific customer segments for optimized sales.
  14. Develop strategies to exceed sales targets, closely monitoring KPIs and ensuring alignment with leadership.
Candidate Requirements
  • University degree in Agriculture or a related scientific subject, ideally complemented by a formal marketing or sales qualification.
  • MBA is a plus.
  • Approximately 15 years of experience.
  • Strong personal relationships with buyers and senior management of significant US agricultural distributors and retailers.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales in most regions of US countries.
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development and execution of the company's overall strategy.
  • Experience navigating complex regulatory landscapes in the agriculture sector, ensuring products comply with local and international regulations.
  • A track record of driving innovation in product development, marketing strategies, and distribution approaches within the agricultural industry.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing organizational change and adapting to evolving market dynamics.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships at various levels within the industry, including government agencies, industry associations, and research institutions.
