Job Summary

The Sr. Director of SCS Multi-Client Asset Management will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimize Ryder's multi-client 3PL operations. This role requires a strong background in strategic planning and communication skills needed to develop consensus amongst internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize utilization and efficiency across our network
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align strategies with company-wide goals and objectives
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track effectiveness of asset management initiatives
  • Evaluate market trends and industry best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation
  • Lead strategic planning and integration efforts resulting from mergers and acquisitions
  • Assess dynamic risk factors and develop mitigation strategies
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of industry experience in supply chain operations, asset management or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Knowledge of e-commerce logistics and supply chain management principles
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
  • Proven track record driving outcomes in collaboration with cross-functional teams

Travel: 30% - 50% initially - REMOTE OTHERWISE

Salary: $140,000 to $170,000, supplemented with a bonus as applicable and/or as business conditions allow
