Job Summary

The Director of Global Partnerships for Jobleads-Us will play a pivotal role in expanding and strengthening the company's engagement with healthcare, health and life science, biopharma, biotechnology, population and public health, and other health-related partners across a diverse network of global campuses and 10 colleges.

This strategic position focuses on developing and enhancing network-wide opportunities for student experiential programs, continuing education, clinical placements, research collaborations, and entrepreneurship; and facilitating the transfer of faculty expertise to industry partners that have a health-related, life science, research, and/or technological focus.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategically identify current and new growth opportunities within existing partnerships, using business acumen to identify avenues for mutual growth and benefit.
  • Forge close collaborations with industry partners and university networks, cultivating strong ties with current industry partners and key stakeholders within the university, spanning colleges, campuses, programs, and research centers/institutes.
  • Innovate strategies for deeper collaboration, applying experience to devise innovative approaches aimed at deepening collaboration, ensuring that relationships transcend conventional boundaries and approaches.
  • Maximize the value of existing partnerships through strategic planning and implementation, informed by understanding of both the university and industry landscapes.
  • Identify and secure new partnerships, leveraging experience to research and analyze industry trends and labor needs/skills, identifying potential partners through personal networks, university, and alumni networks.
  • Promote and sell the company's B2B learning portfolio to industry partners, collaborating with internal teams to tailor offerings/proposals based on partner needs, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements, utilizing experience, that align with both parties' objectives, working with colleagues of aligned units and the Office of General Counsel.
  • Facilitate experiential programs, collaborating with academic units to develop and enhance student experiential programs, developing leads for the placement of students in co-op jobs, clinical sites, apprenticeships, and research opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
  • Masters degree in health-related discipline highly preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in business development, partnership management, or related roles.
  • Higher-Ed experience is highly preferred.
  • Healthcare experience in clinical or administrative role highly preferred.
