About the Role

IEM is looking for a skilled Project Scheduler to perform scheduling activities for all Client capital projects. The primary purpose of this role is to compile, assess, and document project schedules, as well as monitor tracking and reporting at various stages of the project. This position works closely with Project Managers to develop reports and analyze workload and resource forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify internal and industry best practices for scheduling and apply them consistently within the workgroup.
  • Create, monitor, and analyze project schedules in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Act as a main point of contact for the work management project team to assist in identifying issues and risks within schedules and work plans.
  • Monitor projects' progress, including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts and progress achieved to date.
  • Review and adjust schedules produced for assigned projects.
  • Analyze internal project schedules to identify trends in scheduling forecasts and propose changes within the tool to support expenditure and project trends identified.
  • Evaluate and monitor the quality process and key performance indicators within their area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for analyzing schedules, workload, and resource forecasts.
  • Ensure adherence to standard policies, programs, processes, and scheduling protocols.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Two (2) years of scheduling experience related to regulated utilities or EPC environments or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), task durations, work estimation, MS Projects/Primavera P6, Smartsheets, and other scheduling software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual, Spanish and English.
