We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler with a strong background in project scheduling within the engineering field, specifically in the construction sector. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules using MS Project.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
  • Identify potential scheduling delays and develop mitigation plans to minimize their impact.
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules accordingly to reflect any changes or updates.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports to management and clients, highlighting key milestones and deadlines.
  • Evaluate and improve project scheduling processes to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews and updates to maintain accuracy and relevance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Proficient in scheduling software, including MS Project.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Candidate must be bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • The ideal candidate will reside in Puerto Rico and possess a strong understanding of local regulations and industry standards.
  • EIT or PE certification is preferred but not mandatory.
