About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our Boston office. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing new revenue-generating relationships with commercial and industrial clients. With a strong background in sales and a proven track record of influencing C-suite decision-makers, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities

• Pursue new business opportunities and enhance existing account relationships
• Strategically drive the development and execution of sales plans to secure and expand Commercial & Industrial client relationships in target markets
• Conduct comprehensive market analyses to uncover growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends
• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior-level executives, offering tailored solutions that meet their sustainability and financial objectives
• Negotiate and close agreements with C-suite decision-makers, ensuring client satisfaction and achieving company business goals
• Collaborate closely with project management and technical teams to ensure flawless execution of services

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of successful solution selling experience
• Experience selling to C-suite and/or Board level executives
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related discipline
• MBA is a plus
• B2B sales experience
• Background in energy, sustainability, finance, or related fields
• Proven success in achieving sales targets in competitive environments and mentoring team members
