District Sales Executive

The District Sales Executive plays a pivotal role in driving business results that align with the organization's strategic objectives. This position requires a high level of initiative, a competitive drive, and the ability to stay focused on results despite changing market conditions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for orchestrating the involvement of multiple stakeholders in the sales process, ensuring consistent revenue growth for the district office and the Expeditors network. This role offers a flexible and dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth, recognition, and reward.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned territory and develop extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area
- Timely data entry in our Customer Relationship Management tool to track sales performance and customer interactions
- Collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources to create value-added solutions for customer logistics needs
- Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer, and securing necessary customer paperwork
- Attend training and development sessions to enhance selling skills and stay up-to-date on Expeditors' products and services
- Participate in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager
- Take on additional assignments as required to support company needs
Requirements
- Ability to meet with customers off-site on a regular basis
- Oral and written proficiency in the English language
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work productively both individually and in a team environment
- Sense of urgency for goal achievement
- Self-motivated with ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Comfortable with regular data entry on a laptop computer
