Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality and Safety Coordinator to join our team at WestRock. As a key member of our safety team, you will assist in the implementation of environmental, quality, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with all safety program requirements and maintain supporting documentation.
- Coordinate appointments with occupational doctors and assist with ordering replacement equipment or first aid supplies.
- Provide safety onboarding training for new hires and annual refresher training for all employees.
- Proactively assist in keeping safety and quality bulletin boards up to date.
- Assist with safety issues, concerns, and inspections.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and track action items for the Safety and Quality committee.
- Assist with data entry in various reporting systems.
Requirements:
- Minimum high school diploma, Associate's degree in business preferred.
- Previous work experience in manufacturing is preferred.
- OSHA certification preferred.
- Microsoft Office skills required.
- Effective at multi-tasking and managing multiple priorities.
