Job Title: Branch Manager

Job Summary:

The Branch Manager is responsible for administering, planning, organizing, analyzing, and accomplishing the Branch objectives. This includes solving problems and situations within the Unit, supervising, evaluating, and developing the Branch personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage business development by effectively managing the Branch.
  • Analyze and promote the objectives and targets of the Unit.
  • Analyze daily financial reports.
  • Assign tasks to personnel in accordance with their knowledge and experience.
  • Guarantee the delivery of an appropriate quality of service satisfying client's needs.
  • Enforce the compliance of applicable laws, policies, and regulations within the Branch.
  • Manage and control the cash, including daily deposits, petty cash, and cash register tally.
  • Maintain the delinquency and loss potential in the minimum level and within the established objectives.
  • Orient the personnel about changes in procedures and policies.
  • Supervise, train, evaluate, and develop the personnel of the Branch.
  • Encourage the compliance of all objectives, targets, and projected results for the branch.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Contact clients with delayed accounts by phone call making or visiting when needed.
  • Perform any other related task assigned by Supervisor.

Independence of Judgment:

The degree of judgment is related to integration and coordination of varied elements and its application to specific subjects.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job has supervisory responsibilities over the Collections Coordinator, Branch Assistant Manager, Collector, Consumer Collector, and the Service Representative positions.

Impact of Errors:

The impact of errors of this position could affect essential activities of administrative, operational, or business nature that have a considerable economic impact.

Minimum Requirements:

The minimum requirements of this job are a Bachelor's Degree and four years of relevant experience within the Banking Industry, as well as one year of personnel supervision experience. Or an Associates Degree with at least six years of relevant experience within the Banking Industry as well as two years of supervision experience.
