About the Role:
As an EHS Manager, you will provide technical guidance on environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety issues. You will advise management on procedures, work practices, and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations. You will implement EHS self-assessment programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with local, federal, and company regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance on environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety issues.
- Advise management on procedures, work practices, and equipment to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Implement EHS self-assessment programs, policies, and procedures.
- Review capital renovations and new construction projects to ensure environmental, industrial hygiene, and Safety issues are addressed.
- Administer Industrial Hygiene, Environmental or Safety programs for the site.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in science (Engineering or related EH&S field) and at least five years of experience leading various EHS areas in the Pharmaceutical industry. You must be fully cognizant of applicable Federal and Commonwealth rules and regulations. You must demonstrate leadership skills, strong negotiation and influencing skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work under pressure of time.
