About the Job:

  • Job Summary: The Occupational Safety Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Provide technical guidance on occupational safety and health to site leadership and employees
    • Develop and implement EHS training programs to ensure employee understanding and compliance
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
    • Collaborate with site leaders to develop and implement injury prevention programs
    • Maintain accurate records of EHS performance metrics and provide regular reporting to management
  • Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field
    • At least 5 years of experience in EHS, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
    • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and company safety policies
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
