Packaging Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Technology Specialist to join our team in Puerto Rico. As an essential member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for providing support to packaging activities related to new package development, product transfer, and operational support.

• Interact with the BMS standard packaging documentation change control system
• Comply with all security guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations, and current Good Manufacturing Practices
• Experience writing test procedures, packaging machinery specifications, performing line trials, and troubleshooting
• Coordinate packaging validation and line trial activities with local validation, production, engineering, planning, and quality groups
• Support new packaging technology and product transfers

• Bachelor's Degree in Sciences or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer) or relevant associate degree with over 10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Experience in packaging operations, inspection, and parenteral manufacturing
• Knowledge of packaging materials, structures, components, and related conversion processes

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
