Senior Packaging Technologist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Technologist to join our team at Flexible & Integrated Technical Services, LLC. As a key member of our Engineering group, you will be responsible for providing support to packaging engineering activities related to new package development, packaging product transfer, and packaging operational support of Sterile/Biologics products.

**Responsibilities:**

• Provide technical support to packaging engineering activities, including interaction with the BMS standard packaging documentation change control system.
• Ensure compliance with all security guidelines, Environmental Health and Safety regulations, and current Good Manufacturing Practices required by the job function.
• Experience writing test procedures, packaging machinery specifications, performing line trials, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate packaging validation and line trial activities with local validation, production, engineering, planning, and quality groups as needed.
• Support new packaging technology and product transfers.
• Determine whether equipment can handle all current packaging components and support proposed changes in packaging components.
• Manage project timetables for new and ongoing projects.
• Provide project status through the use of project plans, presentations, or written reports.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's degree in Sciences or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer) or relevant associate degree with over ten years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry (Parenteral Manufacturing/Packaging Operations).
• Bilingual (English & Spanish)
• Experience in Packaging Operations, Inspection, and Parenteral Manufacturing.
• Packaging materials, structures, components, and related conversion processes, especially for sterile products.
• Process improvement and troubleshooting.
• MS Office, MS Project, AutoCAD.

**Salary:** $90,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
