Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Relationship Banker to join our team at East West Bank. As a Senior Relationship Banker, you will be responsible for demonstrating strong customer service skills and assisting customers with financial transactions such as cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan/credit card payments, wire transfers and foreign currency exchange.
You will also be responsible for documenting large deposit over Currency Transaction Reports, identifying fraudulent activity to prevent potential loss to the bank, and ensuring financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, while complying with all policies, procedures and regulatory and banking requirements.
This role requires you to maintain strong relationships with existing customers and cultivate new customer relationships. You will also be responsible for cross-selling and referring products (wealth management, mortgage) that fit customers' needs.
Requirements
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required; a Bachelor's degree is highly preferred. You should have at least 1 year of recent customer service and cash handling experience, and 1 year of previous teller / new account experience in a banking institution is preferred.
You should also have the ability to learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately, as well as excellent customer service skills, strong attention to details and time management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
