We're seeking a highly skilled Sr. Client Support Specialist to join our team at NFP, a 4x Best Places to Work award winner in Business Insurance for 2017-2020. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for interacting with clients and client managers to successfully offer the COBRA Administration Service, present the services, and implement the COBRA Administration process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement new clients to the COBRA Administration System with data entry and system setup
  • Visit clients for implementation and follow-up COBRA procedures
  • Update the COBRAeas system with COBRA eligible participants' data
  • Revise COBRA notifications and send via certified mail to all required participants within the COBRA established timeframe
  • Complete COBRA enrollment, changes, and termination forms
  • Send daily communications to carriers to notify of COBRA reinstatement, changes, and terminations
  • Provide support to customers, clients, and COBRA participants on questions regarding coverage information, account information, insurance information, and COBRA regulations
  • Manage COBRA Open Enrollment communications process, as well as add and/or update rates information on the COBRAeas system
  • Monitor account email and maintain SysAid Service Request documentations updated: daily verification of new cases, follow-up on pending cases, and resolution of open cases
  • Monitor and comply with COBRA notification, election, and payment periods
  • Generate monthly COBRA reports for Finance: COBRA Headcount Report, COBRA Notices Report, COBRA Severance Report
  • Scan and file COBRA participants' documents: election forms, enrollment forms, termination forms, participant letters, and other related documents
  • Ensure all verbal and written communication is courteous and professional at all times
  • Build a strong customer relationship and effectively interact with customers to explain complex procedures and concepts, benefits, and services in a simple and concise manner
  • Maintain strong sensitivity and adherence to confidentiality standards. Follow HIPPA compliance
