Purpose and Scope:

The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the efficient and accurate admission process of patients, ensuring timely distribution of necessary paperwork and notification to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review prospective admissions against approved criteria, policies, and procedures.
  2. Complete paperwork necessary for patient admission, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  3. Ensure all required patient information is received and processed, with necessary appointments made with healthcare personnel.
  4. Perform clerical duties, including data entry, insurance communication, and phone management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; one year experience in healthcare preferred. First Aid, CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certification required.
