We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Director to lead our Emerging Technology pillar and oversee the responsible deployment and maintenance of AI models within our financial services organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, experience with AI models, and a proven track record of improving model performance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and refine financial services model governance frameworks to ensure all AI models are compliant with applicable BSA laws, regulations, and Walmart standards for AI models.
- Collaborate with legal, digital citizenship, privacy, and technical teams to interpret regulations and translate them into operational requirements for AI models.
- Conduct risk assessments for AI models to identify potential compliance and ethical risks; implement controls and mitigation strategies to manage identified risks.
- Perform hands-on tuning and calibration of AI challenger models to meet specific performance metrics.
- Monitor ongoing performance of champion challenger models in production, identifying degradation and opportunities for enhancement.
- Strong knowledge about model risk management and regulatory landscape affecting AI.
- Proven track record of strong quantitative testing and statistical analysis techniques as it pertains to BSA/AML models.
- Experience deploying AI models, particularly ML and LLM models.
- Strong understanding of AI model architecture and the factors influencing model performance.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, and BI platform such as Tableau Prep or Dataiku.
We offer a competitive salary range of $110,000.00-$220,000.00, annual or quarterly performance bonuses, and additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k), stock purchase, and company-paid life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting leave, and more.
