About the Role:
This role is a Technical Sales Training Program at Trane Technologies, where you will challenge what's possible for a sustainable world. We are seeking recent graduates who are excited to participate in our 5-month, best-in-class, Technical Sales program.
The program provides you with intensive technical, business, sales engineering, and leadership training, allowing you to grow and maintain relationships with customers and sell climate solutions products to achieve a more sustainable world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell the world's most complete line of efficient heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
- Work with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers in the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for customer buildings.
What We Offer:
Base Pay: $84,680
Lodging, a daily stipend, and relocation are provided during the 5-month training.
After program completion, compensation expectations are partially commission-based and industry-leading, creating an uncapped compensation opportunity.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in building efficiency and sustainability through our Equipment, Service, or Controls/Building Automation offerings.

This role is part of our industry-leading Commercial HVAC sales team and has been designated as Safety Sensitive.
Relocation for 5 months of training in La Crosse, WI, with less than 15% travel in a defined geographic location after training.
Requirements:
- Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering (Open to all engineering areas of emphasis)
- Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months, ability to provide proof of insurance, and have no major or frequent traffic violations
