About the Role
Boston Scientific is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our Endoscopy team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue, defining and developing new business opportunities, and contributing to the overall team success.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Sell products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unit growth objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies by determining the relevant factors of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products.
- Develop action plans by analyzing quarterly and monthly sales figures and reports to identify the needs of accounts and discuss issues with Sales Market Lead Development.
- Determine the needs of customers by meeting with and asking in-depth questions of physicians and other hospital personnel to learn which products can best address their specific needs.
- Maintain the skills and knowledge to sell the entire product line to all applicable buying influences and differentiate each product line against the competitor's products in front of the customer.
- Establish pricing packages by working with relevant personnel to establish price points that address specifications.
- Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative and feasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.
- Develop relationships with hospital and office personnel to make new contacts in other departments within the hospital and identify key purchasing decision makers to facilitate future sales.
- Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations and demonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms to secure purchasing commitments.
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a candidate with a Bachelor's degree, preferably with an advanced degree, and 3-5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in medical device experience and/or endoscopy experience within the OR environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with hospital, ASC, and in-office selling, solid business and financial understanding, and the ability to absorb technical knowledge quickly and disseminate appropriately to all levels of healthcare professionals.
