As a Senior Insurance Underwriter at our company, you will be responsible for helping empower results for our clients by delivering effective solutions to their risk exposures.
Key duties include:
- Developing a deep understanding of client risk exposures
- Negotiating terms and conditions with insurance carriers
- Quoting and placing risk exposure with the best-suited insurance carrier
- Ensuring policies issued include requested coverages and accurate information
- Acting as a resource to others and training them as needed
You will analyze data to develop and enhance clients' insurance programs, recommending coverages and managing endorsements and renewals.
A successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, at least five years of experience in personal lines insurance placement and subscription, and strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
We also seek candidates with certifications like Property and Casualty License or Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, who can multitask, prioritize, and organize work with attention to detail in a deadline-oriented environment.
The estimated salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
