Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team. As a Sous Chef, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our kitchen provides nutritious, safe, and visually appealing food to our guests. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment, menu planning, and controlling food costs.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to professional standards of appearance, personal cleanliness, and proper uniform.
- Maintain and promote CMR Culture and philosophies.
- Protect the financial assets of the company at all times.
- Control costs and maximize revenue.
- Communicate effectively with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and laws related to employment, food handling, sanitation, and alcohol service.
- Establish quality standards for menu items and food production.
- Assist in controlling all costs pertaining to the kitchen.
- Maintain sanitation of the restaurant to exceed Health Department standards.
- Maintain proper security of all restaurant personnel and guest property.
As a Sous Chef, you will be responsible for supervising all Heart of House (HOH) associates. This includes interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating associates, as well as planning, assigning, and directing work.
