Key Responsibilities- Register guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment for guests
- Assist with luggage handling, coat check, and other guest services as needed
- Operate the hotel's switchboard, reservation system, and other computer systems with accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare and balance daily cash reports, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including assisting with special events and promotions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and team members
- Basic math skills and ability to operate a computer, switchboard, and other hotel systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and time pressures
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds, and push/pull up to 150 pounds
The Front Desk Agent will work in a fast-paced office environment, with frequent exposure to noise, varied temperatures, dust, and fumes. The position requires the ability to work effectively in a high-rise hotel setting, with frequent use of elevators and stairs.
