About the Role:
Firm: A leading global portfolio management firm with a large portfolio of over $200 billion in assets under management. Each client has a separately managed portfolio tailored to their risk tolerance, asset allocation, and securities preferences. The firm offers a fee-based platform for global portfolio management solutions.
Responsibilities:
In this home-based outside sales role, you will focus on closing leads of high net worth clients who have already expressed interest in investing with the firm and have over $500,000 or more to invest. You will not engage in cold calling or prospecting, and the firm prefers that you focus on closing client leads provided by the firm.
A dedicated portfolio management and service team is responsible for the transition and retention of client relationships.
Benefits:
The firm covers all home office expenses, including computer, phone, scanner, printer, etc. The firm also covers all travel expenses and provides an expense account.
Compensation:
$100,000 base salary to start, plus uncapped commission, with average total compensation of $300,000 to $500,000 and top producers earning $1 million plus. Compensation includes a base salary plus uncapped commission, with salary starting at $100,000 and gradually declining to $0, but commission increasing substantially as you will receive commission on any new sale for a number of years to come.
Requirements:
7+ years' experience working as an Investment Advisor or External Wholesaler or similar role, with a strong track record of success in sales and bringing in new investment assets to the firm.
