Job Summary
Jobleads-Us seeks a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Operations Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient completion of work efforts related to the construction, operation, maintenance, and emergency restoration of electric distribution and transmission systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure the safe execution of field activities and set safety expectations with employees
• Resolve safety issues and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner
• Communicate safety lessons learned and promote continuous learning of safe work methods, practices, and procedures
• Make decisions and prioritize work to ensure the safe and appropriate use of assigned resources
• Conduct comprehensive performance reviews and address performance issues
• Participate in pre-construction reviews and coordinate work with other utilities, departments, and contractors as needed
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience
• Five (5) or more years of related experience, preferably in electric distribution and a supervisory role
• Valid Motor Vehicle License and D.O.T. Driver's License preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g., Microsoft Word & Excel)
