Job Title: Asset Protection Coordinator
This role is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of FirstBank's assets, personnel, and information. The Asset Protection Coordinator will develop, implement, and review access control technology to protect the bank's assets and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement access control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular system testing to ensure security access control systems are operational and compliant with bank policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with security vendors to ensure timely and effective maintenance of security systems and equipment.
- Assist in the coordination of security non-capital projects, including equipment purchases and implementation of required services.
- Respond to emergency repairs of access control hardware and software, and coordinate with vendors to resolve issues.
- Review and update access control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with institution's policies and guidelines.
- Provide recommendations on audit findings and deviations.
- Coordinate all maintenance services required for the proper operation and sustainability of physical security equipment.
- File and maintain operational documentation, including inspection reports and maintenance records.
- Prepare monthly statistics reports on security systems review and deviation, as well as safety events and inspections.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as safety or security.
- At least two years of experience in safety and physical security.
- Knowledge of access control software and Windows-based environment.
- Preferred knowledge of physical security professional (PSP) certification.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Decision-making skills and ability to write, speak, and comprehend English and Spanish.
