Director of Payer Sales

Overjet is the global leader in dental AI, empowering thousands of dental providers and insurers to deliver exceptional care. We're seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our team as the Director of Payer Sales, driving growth in the healthcare/insurance dental payer space.
The RoleAs the Director of Payer Sales, you will be responsible for owning and driving complex sales cycles, engaging C-suite executives across the dental payer space. Your expertise will help accelerate the discovery and adoption of dental AI and Clinical Utilization Review, transforming the industry for the better.
Responsibilities- Gain a deep understanding of prospective dental payers, identifying their needs and pain points to effectively convey the value of AI and clinical dental UR.
- Successfully lead complex deal strategies, bringing in multiple departments and engaging C-suite executives, to educate clients on the benefits of AI in operational workflows.
- Own the sales cycle, smoothly transitioning clients to the assigned Customer Success team post-close.
- Forecast sales with high accuracy and achieve aggressive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- 7+ years of experience in selling SaaS, AI, or UR/UM software and service solutions to healthcare payers.
- Ability to grow and develop in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced growth organization.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to take a leading sales role and execute successful sales strategies.
- Experience in hunting for new business, prospecting over a large territory.
