The Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. is seeking a talented Analytical Method Validation Scientist to join our team in Manati, Puerto Rico.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional with expertise in analytical method development and validation to contribute to the success of our company. As an Analytical Method Validation Scientist, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and evaluating method development protocols to ensure the implementation of robust and efficient methods.
You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to gather information on investigations, troubleshooting, method deviations, method optimization, and method change control. Additionally, you will coordinate projects to assure successful and timely execution, issuance, and updating of detailed time and event schedules.
As a leader, you will be responsible for leading analytical special projects to accomplish company goals and objectives in a timely and effective manner. You will also support laboratory instrument qualification, including knowledge of Maximo and Infinity, and generate IOQ and PQ reports for the qualification of Analytical Instruments.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Natural Science or Biochemistry/Chemistry
- 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with at least 2 years of experience in method development/transfer of biomolecules
- Technical knowledge of proteins handling and analysis with specific experience in biomolecules method optimization and troubleshooting
- Broad experience with analytical instrumentation and techniques (e.g. HPLC, GC, UV, FTIR, MS, CE, SDS-PAGE, SEC, ELISA)
- Literacy of pharmaceutical industry analysis of Bulk Products and/or finished dosage forms
- Computer literacy (Microsoft office, etc) and presentation skills (English/Spanish)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, and opportunities for growth and professional development.
