FITS, LLC offers a unique opportunity to join our team as a Capital Projects Engineer Leader. This role is responsible for supporting the execution of capital projects within the company's Capital Projects area.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $120,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Capital Projects Engineer Leader, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting project coordination with manufacturing operations and support areas to enable project implementation activities;
• Managing all aspects of project planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up;
• Establishing and achieving project standards for working quality and quantity;
• Assessing project issues and developing solutions to meet scientific, productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives;
• Managing and tracking project budgets;
• Liaising with management, department heads, leaders, team leaders, and members to obtain their input on project benefits, needs, and issues;
• Maintaining the master project plan and schedule for assigned projects;
• Recommending and developing operational or process improvements for the performance and successful functioning of the project team;
• Generating periodic updates and preparing formal presentations for required forums;
• Providing senior management and department heads with project management support; and
• Ensuring project work complies with domestic and international regulatory requirements and approved guidelines relevant to the area of responsibility.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with at least three years of exposure in Project Management Life Cycle within the regulated industry;
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish;
• Experience in construction, equipment installation, and project management skills;
• Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders;
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, including Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms;
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
• High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all interactions.
