The Jurisdictional Consultant II plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and compliance of pressure equipment installations. As a key member of the FM Global team, this position requires a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Responsibilities- Collect and appraise basic information about equipment installations, including nameplate data, construction stamps, sizing, testing, maintenance, operation, and condition.
- Consult with clients on regulatory or jurisdictional requirements and FM Global Standards as part of the pressure equipment evaluation process.
- Inform clients of actions needed for compliance and risk reduction.
- Conduct incident investigations of pressure equipment as needed.
Candidates for this position must have a National Board In-service commission and a state/provincial jurisdictional certificate of competency for the jurisdictions in which they will be providing Jurisdictional services. Additional training and experience may be required for obtaining certifications, commissions, or licenses.
