Overview
The Jurisdictional Consultant II is responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and consulting with clients at various insured locations. This role involves collecting and appraising basic information about equipment installations, including nameplate data, construction stamps, sizing, testing, maintenance, operation, and condition.
Responsibilities
The Jurisdictional Consultant II will accurately collect and appraise basic information about equipment installations, including nameplate data, construction stamps, sizing, testing, maintenance, operation, and condition. They will also have an understanding of and be able to consult on regulatory or jurisdictional requirements and FM Global Standards as part of the pressure equipment evaluation process.
Qualifications
Candidates for this position shall have a National Board In-service commission and have or obtain state/provincial jurisdictional certificate of competency for the jurisdictions in which they will be providing Jurisdictional services. Additional training and experience required for obtaining certifications, commissions, or licenses will be provided.
The Jurisdictional Consultant II will demonstrate competence in handling field work and related administrative tasks for the most common occupancies and hazards with decreasing guidance and supervision.
