Overview
The Jurisdictional Consultant II is responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and consulting with clients at various insured locations. Their primary focus is on basic information collection and appraisal of equipment installations.
Responsibilities
The Jurisdictional Consultant II will collect and appraise nameplate data, construction stamps, sizing, testing, maintenance, operation, and condition of equipment installations. They will consult on regulatory or jurisdictional requirements and FM Global Standards as part of the pressure equipment evaluation process.
Qualifications
Candidates for this position must have a National Board In-service commission and a state/provincial jurisdictional certificate of competency. Additional training and experience may be provided to obtain certifications, commissions, or licenses.
The Jurisdictional Consultant II will demonstrate competence in handling field work and related administrative tasks for common occupancies and hazards. They may be asked to conduct incident investigations of pressure equipment at the discretion of the Operations Chief Inspector.
