SAP IT Analyst Job Description

Mondo is seeking a highly skilled SAP IT Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operations and projects within our accounting systems, specifically focused on SAP FICO and SCM modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily support for accounting systems, including troubleshooting issues and handling system enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between Finance and IT to facilitate system improvements and updates.
  • Support SAP FICO and SCM modules, including performing application upgrades in line with established procedures.
  • Manage user provisioning and access rights to applications and systems.
  • Design, implement, and support IT and business process controls within ERP environments.
  • Understand ERP configurations and develop automated controls.
  • Prioritize and address incident, defect, and enhancement requests from business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with vendors, developers, and infrastructure teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Generate audit reports for internal and external auditors (system security).
  • Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed by leadership.
  • Provide user support for Finance systems, including SAP, Infor Infinium, Microsoft Dynamics, and Treasury systems.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including user manuals and system configuration reports.
  • Monitor and manage system performance, availability, and capacity based on established metrics.
  • Maintain up-to-date system and application documentation.
  • Review system alerts and take steps to resolve issues.
  • Test changes submitted by developers to ensure system functionality.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience supporting IT systems and applications.
  • 4+ years of experience in financial data analysis or accounting/finance-related roles.
  • Functional expertise in General Ledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Treasury, Tax, Consolidation, and Procurement.
  • Strong process and configuration knowledge of SAP Finance modules.
  • Experience working within an ERP application (SAP FICO, SCM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SAP FICA and Onestream is a plus.
