We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Buscojobs Puerto Rico. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and managing our scorecards process, collaborating with stakeholders to explore key performance indicators (KPIs), providing visibility so they can execute their functions efficiently and more effectively.

About the Role

  • Responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reviewing business outcomes and needs to help identify situations and propose solutions (recalibrate metrics, design or propose changes, and new dashboards).
  • Uses proven tools, methods, and metrics to identify opportunities, forecast changes, and track improvements in areas such as budgeting, production, process flows, customer service, and more.
  • Management of monthly results from the areas it serves to produce incentive dashboards and reports, send incentive payments, work with submitted claims, and document exceptions.
  • Perform monthly Scorecards Reports. This includes gathering all information, analyzing and preparing the final report always ensuring the information provided is accurate and on time.
  • Collaborates and supports audit processes related to the Incentive Plan, this entails being the direct point of contact, preparation of walkthroughs, issue analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Review and maintain updated documentation of all processes related to regulation and operations (scorecard).
  • Analyze statistical data to align with strategic recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities, analyze causes, and seek successful solutions to reduce time and streamline work processes in your unit.
  • Analyze monthly incentives, operating costs and expenses, and revenue compared to the previous year and budget, providing explanations and solutions.
  • Identify processes that need to be more efficient and implement solutions.
  • Evaluate alternatives and then implement initiatives or projects to improve internal and external clients' processes.
  • Manage strategic analysis and design dashboards in Power BI.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems or Industrial Engineering.
  • At least three years related experience in business analysis or project coordination.
  • Experience in Banking, Regulatory Reporting, related processes and customer service. Knowledge of financial institutions, applicable rules and regulations preferred.
  • Proficient in Word, Power Point, Advanced Excel, Advanced Microsoft Access, or another database tool.
  • Knowledge of SQL, SAS, and database management is desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and teamwork.
  • Analytical capacity and critical thinking skills, with emphasis in attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulations that apply to the financial industry.
  • General knowledge in the financial industry.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
