Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electric Operations Development Program Supervisor to join our team. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient completion of work efforts related to the construction, operation, maintenance, and emergency restoration of our electric distribution and transmission systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance and overall direction to a team of union-represented trade employees.
- Ensure the safe execution of field activities and set safety expectations with employees.
- Make decisions and prioritize work to ensure the safe and appropriate use of assigned resources.
- Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback to employees regarding their performance.
- Effectively address performance issues and ensure the proper application of local union contracts and agreements.
- Participate in pre-construction reviews and other activities to ensure the timely and efficient execution of field operations.
- Ensure work is complete and within budgetary guidelines.
- Prepare, review, and approve time, expense, materials, and other company records in an accurate and timely manner.
- Demonstrate and role model a customer-first attitude and seek to quickly resolve customer issues.
- Fulfill storm duty assignments and participate in on-call rotation as required.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of methods, work practices, and procedures regarding the safe construction, operation, and maintenance of electric T&D facilities.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience required. Engineering degree preferred.
- Three or more years of related experience is required. Previous experience in electric distribution and supervisory roles is preferred.
- Valid Motor Vehicle License required. D.O.T. Driver's License preferred.
What We Offer:
- A competitive total rewards program.
- An annual salary range of $98,010.00 to $108,900.00, plus incentive.
Working Conditions:
- This is an on-site position and will require travel to MA, CT, and NH for training during this six-month training program.
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
- Work is conducted outside, in varied conditions including adverse weather.
- May work with computers for long periods of time during the day.
- Subject to shift work including weekends.
- Off-hour on-call responsibility is required on a rotational basis.
