Job SummaryWe're seeking a Senior Manager, Business Systems Engineering to lead our technology experience in North America. This role requires a sound understanding of complex business applications, including SAP and cloud services. The successful candidate will ensure Grainger team members are equipped with the most relevant and effective technology capabilities to serve customers with ease and confidence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction to engineers and engineering leaders in support of Grainger's business objectives.
- Create an environment where innovation and creativity are celebrated with a strong foundation in efficient and effective resilient systems.
- Coach and develop technical talent, helping to make Grainger a top-talent magnet.
- Use data to proactively forecast capacity changes and implement improvements when necessary.
- Partner with stakeholders to better understand customer and team member needs and ensure alignment with our core principles and strategic vision.
- 7+ years of experience managing application engineering or similar development teams.
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field.
- Strong service-based experience and delivery.
- Experience with delivery methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Strong experience with SAP modules and cloud technologies.
