Job Summary:
The New York City District Attorney's Office is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Records Management Clerk to join our team. As a Records Management Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, processing new case files, and retrieving archived files. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Records Management Tracking System and ensuring that all files are properly stored and secured.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
Process new case files and retrieve archived files
Maintain the Records Management Tracking System
Ensure that all files are properly stored and secured
Assist with large-scale file moves and preparation
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to understand and carry out simple instructions
Ability to understand and be understood in English
Valid driver's license required
Working Conditions:
Work in a fast-paced office environment
May be required to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
May be required to work in a confined space
