The Case Management Specialist is responsible for providing services to internal and external customers by analyzing billing processes and health plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quotes for surgeries in coordination with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Post surgeries in WebOps and coordinate documentation required for procedures.
- Confirm medical plan eligibility with Third Party Vendors and coordinate patient co-pay or COD payments.
- Coordinate PO approvals from Hospitals and surgeries with warehouse and Sales Representatives.
- Generate and expedite documentation for dispatch of trays and/or implants.
- Follow up on charges from surgeries for invoicing purposes.
- Request missing documentation from Health Plans, Hospitals, Orthopedist Offices, and/or Sales personnel.
- Update Daily Case Reports and inform the sales team about charged cases, cancellations, and other relevant information.
- Post communications with patients in WebOps and maintain digital documentation.
- Perform tasks with other departments to enhance customer service.
- Manage and communicate complaints concerning billing or service rendered.
- Prepare reports as required and manage customer refunds and health insurance denials.
Requirements:
- Complete graduation in the health area (preferably).
- Previous experience in the medical device segment/role.
- English required.
