At Protalents, we are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Bridge Maintenance Specialist to join our team. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBBs) at Carolina Airport.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on PBB systems, including electrical, hydraulic, controls, PLC, GPU, structural, and mechanical components. They will also be required to document work orders, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with airport personnel and supervisors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspections on bridges as a preventive measure to evaluate, identify, correct, and document any deficiency.
  • Evaluate, troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct any deficiencies reported by Airline PBB operators.
  • Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance on bridges, including lubrication, cleaning, and painting as suggested by manufacturer specifications.
  • Communicate constantly with AOCC (Airport Operation Control Center) to discuss Airline Operations on PBBs.
  • Notify AOCC about PBBs that are not operating correctly and share information with Supervisor to establish an action plan.
  • Document work using CMMS Computerized Maintenance Management System.
  • Comply with established safety regulations and use corresponding safety equipment.
