Duties Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable. Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, ensuring clarity and attention to detail. Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for guests. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation. Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change as needed. Assist with bussing tables, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and specials to provide informed recommendations to guests. Uphold health and safety standards within the dining area at all times. Experience 3 years of previous experience in food & beverage service is required. Familiarity with food service operations or kitchen environments is advantageous. Proficiency in using POS systems for order entry and payment processing is beneficial. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining quality service. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
