Position Overview:

A Business Analyst

participates and assists in the coordination of consulting projects, including process improvement, business analysis, system analysis and programming projects.  

General tasks and responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and analyze the data specifications of a project and provide clear requirements to project stakeholders.
  • Monitor and identify errors/issues on an ongoing basis.
  • Document requirements for the development of software systems and new processes.
  • Support business operations by identifying and fixing errors and troubleshooting incidents reported.
  • Design, execute, and document user test cases.
  • Prioritize pending tasks and manage change requests.
  • Use software applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project PowerPoint, and Excel to prepare documents and deliverables.
  • Facilitate interactions and communication between the client's lead and programmers, to ensure proper understanding of technical and non-technical issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, issue logs and project status reports.
  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, and other project-related events.
  • Document meetings with detailed minutes and other reports when required.
  • Assist in the creation and presentation of general information regarding e3's services and products.
  • All other office administrative items, which are deemed necessary by the project manager or team lead.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration.
  • 1-2 years of related experience.
  • Team player
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, in English and Spanish.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft

Word, Microsoft Project PowerPoint, and Excel.
