Assistant Athletic Director Job Description

Pratt Community College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Athletic Director to join our team. The successful candidate will assist the Director of Athletics in the administration of our competitive NJCAA intercollegiate athletics program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic planning for the athletics program
  • Maintain an athletics program committed to the college's mission and strategic priorities
  • Work with the Pratt Community College Foundation office to raise funds for the athletic department
  • Assist with the allocation of the overall athletic budget
  • Recruit and manage the coaching staff
  • Ensure compliance with college, national association, and conference policies, rules, and regulations

The ideal candidate will possess excellent public relations and communication skills, strong organizational, budgetary, and administration skills, and successful fundraising experience. A bachelor's degree is required, and a master's degree is preferred. Prior experience in intercollegiate athletics is highly desirable.
