**Job Opportunity at Plp Company**

We are seeking a skilled Pavement Marking Specialist to support our Estimating Department in researching project information, preparing estimates, and generating proposals. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Estimator to review tasks and priorities, coordinate the bid process, and maintain the project database.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Meet daily with the Senior Estimator to review tasks and priorities
  • Coordinate the entire bid process, including obtaining and printing plans, addenda, and creating proposal templates
  • Log all invitations to bid, research, and contact plan holders to compile a complete list of bidders
  • Track all distributions to bidders, follow-up with bidders to confirm receipt of proposal, and inquire about bid status
  • Support estimating staff with bid day-related tasks, contractor phone calls, and revisions of proposals
  • Maintain the project database, including setting up projects and organizing electronic and hard copy project files

**Requirements:**

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • At least 60 WPM typing skills
  • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Self-disciplined, strong work ethic, and ability to work under time restraints
