Job Title: Director of Education Administration

Job Summary:

The Director of Education Administration will lead the development and implementation of education programs at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This role will oversee the administrative leadership, strategic planning, and operating results of education programs, ensuring alignment with the Institute's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement education programs that align with the Institute's strategic plan
  • Lead the administrative leadership team to ensure effective program management
  • Collaborate with departmental leadership to establish and achieve goals
  • Manage and direct an education office staff to achieve the Institute's education mission
  • Ensure healthy and collaborative relationships among faculty and staff educators and trainees
  • Develop and launch new strategic initiatives and serve as the administrative project leader for new educational initiatives
  • Participate in design and implementation of changes to training programs
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the changing health care education environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with MBA/MPH/MHA or Master's in Education preferred
  • 10 years experience managing ACGME programs
  • High level of understanding of formal accreditation of medical education programs
