About the Job

The ideal candidate will have experience programming PLC/HMI controls and be familiar with automation line control processes. He/she should also possess a wide range of electrical and control issues experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and document control solutions for material handling systems.
  • Act as a liaison for internal and external resources.
  • Be on call as needed.
  • Provide proper training to Technicians on device troubleshooting and Preventive / Predictive Maintenance repairs.
  • Assist in formulating standards, work procedures, and provide work order feedback on discrepancies.
  • Use AutoCAD to review, develop, and maintain electrical schematic and conveyor layout drawings.
  • Create, change, and troubleshoot PLC/HMI programming.
  • Experienced with control panels and electrical components.
  • Knowledge of Control logic and ladder logic.
  • Ability to troubleshoot all electrical issues and suggest ways to improve.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with PLC programming and control system automation, preferably in Allen Bradley.
  • 3+ years of experience with Industrial Automation.
  • Capable of multitasking in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills.
