Import Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Import Documentation Specialist to join our team at Busy Season Staffing Solutions. This role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of imports, from shipment tracking to documentation preparation. The successful candidate will have 3 or more years of experience in a similar role and be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.

The Import Documentation Specialist will be the primary point of contact for all import-related matters, communicating with carriers, customs agents, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure timely cargo release. This individual will also oversee the preparation of all necessary import documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and Treasury Department reports. Additionally, they will print invoices payable and manage anival notices, consignee pre-advices, pick-up orders, and delivery orders.

• Coordinate with carriers, customs agents, clients, and other parties to ensure optimal import processing.
• Prepare and submit all necessary import documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and Treasury Department reports.
• Print invoices payable received from brokers, agents, carriers, and other entities.
• Manage anival notices, consignee pre-advices, pick-up orders, and delivery orders.

To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in import documentation or a related field.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits that include medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan matching, and paid time off.
